wreaths of
gray moss
from the
South, and
a bunch of
cotton-pods.
The dead
bats had a
place,
also a
large
turtle-shell,
and an
ostrich-egg
proudly
presented
by Demi,
who
volunteered
to explain
these rare
curiosities
to guests
